Abstract— The world of operating system is continuously evolving to a very new concept of interactive OS – The  SMART OS  . where your own voice is commanding tool ,so forget day when you need to type your own document, the future belongs to the OS where you have to just give command to your computer and forget  all your work will be done by your OS on its own.

I.      Introduction
With the advent of Graphics User Interface and mouse ,the world of computer took a major leap from a black and monotonous window (Q-DOS) to the whole new world of graphics enabled OS .
Since then the basic architecture remains the same , but a whole new dimension lies in the field of  voice activated and self interacting OS . In this OS the commands are  given to the computer and are then converted to the action by processing the commands . The uniqueness of this OS lies in the fact that it is not a parasitic application but a whole OS which runs on
Verbal command with an option  of typing not like contemporary OS with the opposite. This OS interacts in itself with user through voice. With the integration of Artificial Intelligence, the whole new era of computer begins .No need  command should be syntax or word specific. Not even this the Integration of AI. Give new dimension in security  and mobile computing.

II.   Basic Architecture
To make this OS the kernel as visualised is a nano kernel. Hence it provides it with a great potential as due to  the low memory requirement as only few graphics are required hence on integrating it with nano kernel(FREE BDS PROJECT) only more memory requirement is required.
In this there a voice recognition interface which converts the verbal text to the electronic command hence this task is taken by the Artificial Intelligence   Program, hence the given task is analysed and performed and is mediated to the user through a voice and graphical  actions interface   and if in case OS is not able to analyse then also it is mediated to the user.

III. Advantages over the prevailing OS
1.       Easy operating ability to all from a small child to a professional.
2.       Great advantages for people with physical disabilities specially blind as OS interact with user through voice and all commands are given through voice.
3.       Greater security, as AI program can itself monitor and even stop processes that seems to be malicious, be it a virus or intruder  so no need of expensive antivirus and firewalls. Here your voice is your password.
4.        Forget the days of sitting in front of computer or typing mails and other important documents. You can just tell your computer the task and forget.
5.       On integrating with cloud computing the scope of the OS is far more than imaginable.
IV.  applications
1.For general PC which would thrust its use to non technical group of people due to easy usability
2. Due to inclusion of AI. Interface the machine becomes more secure hence can be used in gateways prone to spoofing and hacking
3.   Can be used by companies for information exchange and data housing as data fetching would be through voice command and less time consuming
4. in field of research this can bring a next level evolution
As basic o/s will able perform mass calculation through AI
Interface.

V.      CONCLUSION
With the advent of APPLE ‘SIRI’ in I-phone 4s series the hope is bright for interactive OS. And with the Microsoft putting its best effort to bring up with this concept. “THE BEST IS STILL TO COME” as said by Bill Gates.
